ABOUT US
Founded in 2023 as a community softball league, we focus on providing approachable and welcoming athletics and events for all skill levels. Our flagship free adult softball league will enter its fourth season in the summer of 2026 and remains free for all participants thanks to our local partners.
While softball has been our core focus, we are beginning to expand our offerings to keep the neighborhood connected year-round. Following our first holiday cornhole tournament in late 2025, Riverdale Sandlot will continue to introduce new recreational sports and social events for adults in Riverdale.
OUR MISSION
CURRENT & PREVIOUS PARTNERS
Riverdale Sandlot is built on community, not fees. We don’t require formal registration or membership dues. Our core offering is a free summer softball league; however, because we operate on limited field space, we utilize a first-come, first-served RSVP system for our weekly games.
Beyond the diamond, we host various one-off social events throughout the year. To stay in the loop on weekly softball RSVPs and upcoming neighborhood events, be sure to join our email list and our WhatsApp group.
